Episode 018: Leilani Orr

Today I’m chatting with a new friend Leilani Orr. Leilani is a mother of 10 children, the 4th child of 12 and a home-educator to 8 (currently) of her kids. She’s also the author of “Simpler By the Dozen” now available on Amazon. Leilani enjoys organizing her home as much as is possible. When she’s not cleaning a toilet or teaching a child how to read, you might find her watching the sunrise or jogging into the sunset. with all the ample time she finds on her schedule, she enjoys, writing, and drinking really good coffee. I loved getting to know her better! Enjoy my conversation with Leilani.

Episode 017: Scarlet Hiltibidal

On today’s episode I had the absolute pleasure to interview and talk to Scarlet Hiltibidal.  Scarlet is the author of Afraid of All the Things and He Numbered the Pores on My Face. She also writes a regular column for ParentLife Magazine and enjoys speaking to women around the country about the freedom and rest available in Jesus. Scarlet lives in Middle Tennessee, where she loves sign language with her daughters, nachos by herself, writing for her friends, and learning how to raise ducks with her husband for no reason other than cuteness. Scarlet is so relatable and I know you will love our chat. We found out we’re both from the south FL area so it was fun to make that connection. Don’t forget to listen to the end because I will be giving instructions for how to enter for the chance to win a copy of “Afraid of all the Things”! Enjoy my conversation with Scarlet!

Episode 016: Ashley Klaja

On today’s episode I am chatting with a sweet friend of mine named Ashley Klaja. I knew Ashley for a very short time when her family moved to south FL but we have been able to keep in contact and see each other’s journeys on social media which is wonderful! I love Ashley, her Texas southern accent and awesome sense humor. Ashley shares a lot about her unique journey to motherhood and I can’t wait till you hear about the time she showed up to my 18th birthday costume party as an Estee Lauder saleswoman. Make sure to check out her amazing blog at livingbeautahfully.com and follow her instagram @livingbeautahfully. Enjoy my fun chat with my friend Ashley.

Episode 015: Torrey Roberts

On today’s episode I am interviewing my long-time friend Torrey Roberts. Torrey is wife to Adam and Mama to two adorable sons. She also works at a non-profit ministry in south Florida called Sheridan House Family Ministries. You’ll hear more about that in this episode. Torrey was always sort of a “big sister” role model for me and later on we became friends as we found ourselves in similar life situations: living in south FL as wives and moms and people who worked in full-time ministry. I absolutely love her wisdom in this episode and as you’ll hear, she’s “mothered” way more kids than just her own! Enjoy my conversation with my friend Torrey.

Episode 014: Jewel Walwyn

On this episode I am talking with my friend Jewel Walywn. She is a wife and Mama to 3 beautiful girls. She is also in full-time ministry doing communications. I love Jewel because she is not afraid to say the hard things. She is really transparent in this episode as we chat about depression and a hilarious “oops” her daughter said a few years ago!

Episode 013: Kristin Petersen, part 1

Meet my dear, long-time friend Kristin Petersen! This episode is actually split into 2 parts because, well, we just had a lot to talk about! Kristin is wife to Tim and Mama to 2 boys and 1 girl. They make their home outside of Washington D.C. You’ll hear their infertility journey and all about croup and severe reflux they experienced with one of their kids. We have a lot of fun and there’s a lot of laughing!
