Episode 023: Karla Bennett

On today’s episode I am interviewing Karla Bennett! She’s a full time mom and lives in the Dallas area with her husband and two littles, ages 6 and 3. In her spare time she runs a small, handcrafted lip balm business and a gift giving business. We’re going to talk more about that in the episode! I loved everything she had to say: from a very funny (and terrible) poop story to the time where enough was enough and her counselor told her, “YOU HAVE PERMISSION”, which was a total shift in thinking for her. You’re going to love her! Enjoy my conversation with Karla.

Episode 022: Katie Alexander

Today I am interviewing Katie Alexander! Katie is releasing a book called “This One's for the Working Mama” in early fall! She’s worked for 13 years in healthcare strategic planning and business development. She lives in Apollo Beach, Florida with her husband of 15 years and their two little girls Ella (11) and Meadow (5). If you work in ANY capacity, this episode is going to encourage you SO MUCH. I found myself wishing I had read her book years ago when I was battling what I call “the mythical balance” of motherhood and working at a job that I loved. I know you will love all that she has to say! Enjoy my episode with Katie.

Episode 021: Amber Salhus

In this episode I am interviewing my new friend Amber Salhus! She is a writer, fitness coach and podcaster who helps women come home to themselves, uncover their passions and love the body they live in. She lives in the Oregon countryside with her husband of 16 years and their 2 kids, Jax and Bella, and their ever-growing herd of animals. I met Amber just 6 months ago and we’ve become fast friends! She is the half of The Mom Wants More Podcast and I was on their show back in May. Amber cracks me up in this episode a lot and I just love how real and honest she is, especially about motherhood.
